"How the fox punished his tail" - Estonian story in romanian language

Cum ṣi-a pedepsit vulpea coada
                                                                              Poveste traditionala estona
                                                                                              Traducere

Ȋn vizuină, pericolul a trecut ṣi vulpea a început să-ṣi verifice corpul.
Apoi ṣi-a întrebat urechile:
-          Urechilor, voi ce făceaṭi când eu scăpam de câine?
-          Noi ascultam, noi ascultam, câinele era departe.
Ṣi-a întrebat apoi nasul:
-          Nasule, tu ce făceai când eu scăpam de câine?
-          Eu adulmecam mirosul, eu adulmecam mirosul,  câinele era aproape.
Apoi vulpea ṣi-a întrebat picioarele:
-          Picioarelor voi ce făceaṭi cănd eu scăpam de câine?
Picioarele din faṭă au răspuns:
-          Noi împingeam, noi Impingeam.
Picioarele din spate au răspuns:
-          Noi alergam repede, noi alergam repede.
Apoi ṣi-a întrebat trunchiul:
-          Trunchiule, tu ce făceai când eu scăpam de câine?
-          Eu mă lungeam, eu mă lungeam.
Ȋn final, vulpea ṣi-a întrebat coada:

"Once upon a time..Old sailors song" - Estonian story in romanian language

A FOST ODATA....
CANTECUL BATRANILOR MARINARI
Poveste traditionala estona
       (adaptare)

In  vaporul acela heringul s-a urcat
Pe sobolani si pe soareci i- a infulecat
Si cum heringul era dinte dulce
Sarea din cutie ii placea s-o manance.
Si cum o infuleca nerabdator
Cu gura-i toata mestecand cu spor
El  n-a vazut de-atata zor
Ca a facut o gaura-n vapor.
Atfel vaporul incarcat cu sare
S-a scufundat incet in mare.
Numai in apa sarata de-acum vei trai

ESTONIAN TRADITIONAL STORY - ONCE UPON A TIME

The Estonian traditional story/sailor song in English language (translated by Helina Aaboja):

Once upon a time
herring lived on dry land.
He kept himself away from the water
and he was living like a cat.
Once the two-masted schooner
journeyed with cargo of salt .
At the time, salt was the expensive stuff
and a hundred guilders was paid for one wood barrel.
There was on board a herring,
who exterminated the mice and rats .
It was a sweet tooth herring -
it really liked granary bin of salt.
He chewed salt eagerly
with both sides of the mouth.
He did not notice ,
that he chewed hole to the boat .
Then the two-masted schooner
drowned with the cargo of salt.
Then the old Neptune was angry
and said, "Hey , herring ,
Because you eat the hole to the schooner
and brought a new boat to the bottom of sea ,
The punishment for you is
now to live in seawater .
You will be fished from the sea
and salted in the barrel! "
And from that time on, it is true ,
the sea water is salty.

ESTONIAN TRADITIONAL STORY - SEE OLI ENNEMUISTSEL AAL

You can hear the song in Estonian language here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgYiurQI09Q

You can also see a cartoon made in year 1969. In this cartoon there are three stoeries and the second one is called Herring (Heeringas). The song is in Estonian language but also cartoon, so you will be able to understand it. The cartoon is from minute 4:05 until 8:34 here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWEeWKQNjC0  . Enjoy!

In Estonia we sing it as like this: you sing two lines and others repeat them and then you sing next two lines and others repeat and so on and so on.

The Estonian traditional story/sailor song in Estonian language:

See oli ennemuistsel aal
kui heeringas elas kuival maal.
Ta hoidis ennast eemal veest
ja teda peeti kassi eest.
Kord kaljas kahe mastiga
läks teele soolalastiga.
Sel ajal sool oli kallis kraam
ja sada kuldnat maksis aam.
Seal laeval oli heeringas,
kes hiiri, rotte hävitas.
See heeringas oli maiasmokk -
tal maitses väga soolavakk.
Ta näris soola hoolega
siis mõlema suupoolega.
Ei pannud seda tähele,
et näris augu laevasse.
Siis kaljas kahe mastiga
läks põhja soolalastiga.
Siis vana Neptun vihastas
ja ütles: "Kuule, heeringas,
et kaljasesse augu sõid
ja uue laeva põhja tõid,
see karistuseks pead sa
nüüd merevee sees elama.
Sind merest kinni püüetaks
ja tünni sisse soolataks!"
Ja sellest ajast, tõsi see,
on merevesi soolane.

ESTONIAN TRADITIONAL STORY - HOW THE FOX PUNISHED HIS TAIL

The Estonian traditional story in English language (translated by Helina Aaboja):

A Fox had a walk in the forest. Accidentally happened a hunter to be near by and the hunter’s dog began to chase the fox. The fox ran so fast he could and barely made it to his cave to hide. In the cave danger was over, and the fox began to confront his limbs:
"Eyes, what you were doing when I escaped from the dog?"
"We were targeting, we were targeting, is the cave far away."

Asked then from the ears:
"Ears, what you were doing when I escaped from the dog?"
"We were listening, we were listening, is the dog far away."

Asked from nose:
"Nose, what you were doing when I escaped from the dog?"
"I was dragging smell, I was dragging smell, whether the dog is left behind."

Asked the fox from the feet:
"Feet, what you were doing when I escaped from the dog?"
The first legs responded:
"We pulled from the front, we pulled from the front."
The back feet said:
"We were speeding up, we were speeding up. This way we saved you from the hunter's hand. "

Asked from the body:
"Body, what you were doing when I escaped from the dog?"
"I was stretching it long, I was stretching it long."

Asked the fox finally the tail:
"Tail, what you were doing when I escaped from the dog?"
The tail said:
"From behind one tree to behind another tree, hop here and hop there, to one side and then to the other side, so that the dog almost caught you."
Fox became angry with the tail, put it out of the hole, and said:
"Doggy, eat the tail off!"

The dog pulled the tail with the fox out from the cave. So were the tail and the fox manfully ruffled by the dog.

ESTONIAN TRADITIONAL STORY - KUIDAS REBANE OMA SABA KARISTAS

The storyteller is Estonian actor Aarne Üksküla.

The story in Estonian language:

Rebane oli jalutuskäigul. Kogemata juhtus kütt tema lähedusse ja küti koer hakkas rebast taga ajama. Rebane jooksis nii, kuidas ta vähegi jõudis, ja sai hädavaevalt oma koopasse varjule. Koopas oli hädaoht möödas ja rebane hakkas oma ihuliikmetelt aru pärima:
„Silmas, mis teie tegite, kui mina põgenesin?“
„Ikka sihtisime, ikka sihtisime, kas koobas kaugel on.“

Küsis siis kõrvadelt:
„Kõrvad, mis teie tegite, kui mina põgenesin?“
„Ikka kuulasime, ikka kuulasime, kas koer kaugel on.“

Küsis ninalt:
„Nina, mis sina tegid, kui mina põgenesin?“
„Ikka vedasin haisu, ikka vedasin haisu, kas koer on maha jäänud.“

Päris rebane jalgadelt:
„Jalad, mis teie tegite, kui mina põgenesin?“
Esimesed jalad vastasid:
„Ikka tõmbasime eest, ikka tõmbasime eest.“
Tagumise jalad ütlesid:
„Meie andsime ikka takka hoogu, ikka takka hoogu.

„Ikka venitasin pikale, ikka venitasin pikale:“

SEMINAR FOR TEACHERS ABOUT INQUIRY-BASED TEACHING IN PIRITA KINDERGARTEN

On 3rd of November 2016 all 12 Pirita Kidergarten teachers, director's assistant on the field of education and 14 teachers from other Tallinn's kindergartens took part of inquiry-based teaching seminar. The seminar was conducted by Estonian Associacion of Inquiry-based Learning instructors. On this seminar teachers learned about one active learning method which program was thought out in USA and adjusted to our system through Innove funded project POLLEN. This program is systematic, structured and directed so that children have the ability to get new knowledge through researching and to come to conclusions him/herself. The program can be used with children starting the age of 5 years. By that time the children have the vocabulary, ability to make group work and work on their own and their thinking has developed enough to be able to make logical connections. This program has activities in 5 themes: discover the senses; discover weather; discover comparison and measurement; discover the colors; and discover liquids. On this seminar the teachers were taught how to use theme "Discover senses (seeing, touching, hearing, smelling, tasting)" in their everyday work with children. They were given examples of activitis, how to connect this to our curriculum and also teachers book with the program.
In Pirita Kindergarten two groups are testing the program in this schoolyear: group Sinilill discover senses and group Rukkilill discover senses and discover weather.

Here are also some pictures of the seminar:
What is discovering and what is inquiry-based learning?
What is the difference?

I am touching a round, hollow and rimose object in my mysterious bag.
It is, it is, it is a plastic bottle cork! Did You fine the same?

What sounds do You hear?

It was a very interesting seminar with full of activities and something to learn for everybody!

SNOW, SNOW, WOW! In Estonia we have snow!

Last week we had chance to just lay down and make our second SNOW ANGLES this year!
Snow tastes good. When you're a kid, you know. We brought snow to melt into the room. and after that when the kids saw that the snow actually contains, nobody wanted to taste more snow.
How many children have stuck out their tongues to catch the snow? Must be billions!  Does it taste like the sea water?
Perfect day for a walk in the forest!
We made our footprints and saw footprints of dogs, cats, birds and  maybe even rabbits
