Floppy and clean water.

Children aged 2 - 3 and 6 - 7 years.

How did we eliminate pollution?

We have been investigating water pollution, where clean water comes from and how it gets cleaned.
We used water, sand, mud, seeds, coffee powder and tea for testing in one container and the second container is water,  foil, plastic, tin and paper. Same time we play the game drowns or floats.

Tools:

Two fish swimming in clean water

                                            Drowns or floats

We waited until the mud sank to the bottom and then we used                                 2 times coffee filters to clean the water

And we repeat the same thing

Our water came out looking so clean – it looked good enough to drink. BUT – we then talked about things that might be in the water that we couldn’t see!
